Rob Feldman, MD
Fellow American College of Surgeons
As a physician, youth coach and motivational and inspirational speaker, Doctor Rob Feldman speaks from the heart about a lifetime of experiences from the crisis of emergency rooms to the fun, fear and mayhem of youth hockey.

Most of all, Rob talks about our passion, our ownership and our quest for quality in settings and experiences all of us can relate to.
“Trauma Team to the ER…,” begins the emotional story of a young doctor facing his own mortality while helping a crash victim cope with debilitating changes to her life that will never be the same. In the end, it’s passion for life and career, acceptance of outcomes beyond our control and dedication to providing our very best that turns devastation to acceptance and success…
Rob’s overriding message is simple and direct, something every one of us can take to our work, our home or wherever we find the opportunity to help others. “No matter our role we have a choice in every interaction to decide what impact we’d like to make. We don’t have to be in a crisis nor must we do anything sensational or be famous to make a positive impact.”
Rob has practiced medicine for more than twenty years, but much of his passion is on the ice where he has been a player for decades and a youth hockey coach for more than a dozen years. It’s at the crossroads of these two passions, medicine and hockey, where Rob finds a parallel between coaching and healing … the relationship involves passion, ownership and quality.
In Rob’s own words, “I’ve developed a program that motivates and inspires. I provide educational programming that nurtures our ability to uplift others.”
Rob attended the State University of Albany where he graduated with honors and a B.S. degree in biology. He followed that by earning his M.D. degree at the New York Medical College again graduating with honors, then specialty training in general surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident. Since then, Rob has been in private practice in Middletown and Warwick, New York. He lives in neighboring Goshen, NY with his wife and 3 children, where he’s been the proud coach of the Bears, Predators, Devils, Rangers, Polar Bears, Kings, and Green Slime. For those in the know, Rob is a Level 4 USA hockey coach.
